She has enjoyed many experiences that have given her insight into different areas of life: Army medic, accounting, office manager, licensed minister, school administrator, life coach, and has had a seminar business since 1999. In addition to writing, seminars and coaching, she recently created a program using creativity as a healing process for the Veterans Administration.
Veterans Administration Project Testimonial
Rose led a class for us called “Unlocking Your Creativity.” Along with a psychiatry resident, Rose taught veterans who had some of the most severe forms of mental illness. Rose’s warmth, compassion, and light-hearted confidence created an atmosphere where students felt comfortable experimenting with new techniques. Rose brought in a wide variety of materials and showed students how to use them, leaving room for their own creativity. The class was a real morale-booster and supported personal growth. A frequent comment was “Wow, I didn’t know I could do that!”
